Hi, new to apple products here. Purchased the 4th gen ipod touch and I'm concerned about protecting the front and back. Would buying a zagg invisibleshield full body (front and back) and also pairing it with a hard candy street skin case work? Or do you think the zagg shield on the back would slip out when I try installing it into the case? Any feedback or advice is appreciated. Thanks

I went into the Irvine Spectrum store last Thursday and they had 32gigs. Picked one up on the spot. Best Buy and Radio Shack are still waiting for theirs.
Mission Viejo had 32's and 16's. I got mine a few days ago. :D I was surprised at how many they got because At least 10 people were in line ahead of me.

Stopped reading there.
I agree completely.
Once you hear "analyst" in a report or rumour you know it has more to do with them trying to buy or sell some shares than anything based on fact. I don't think I have seen one comment from Piper Jaffrey or other analysts being factually accurate unless they are reporting from an official press release, and even so you have to be careful. :)

I wasn't talking about the iGadgets, because they are actually competitively priced.
I'm talking about the Mac line.
The numbers make it clear that consumers are willing to buy the Mac line at their current prices.

I'm not sure which Mac you have but if has a spot for a regular SD card than this product will work (http://www.newegg.com/Store/Brand.aspx?Brand=1471&name=PNY-Technologies-Inc). It is a micro-sd card with an adapter so you can use it in a regular SD port.
If your Mac doesn't have a SD port on it than you should probably get a SD card reader that connects using USB. Newegg has a couple (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007958%20600021094%20600031471%20600021621%204024&IsNodeId=1&name=%240%20-%20%2410&ShowDeactivatedMark=False&Order=RATING&Pagesize=20) that should work.

Bad RAM. I've had it happen with numerous computers, which is why I paid more for the 8 GB of RAM from Apple, given they can test it prior to shipping. My memory from Apple is Samsung, which I have used a lot without issue. I don't know much about Corsair's memory, so I cannot say anything regarding their product, but I have always used Crucial with good results, and it is a favorite here.
That's for the advice! I may try Crucial or OWC which looks like they guarantee Apple compatibility. I guess the Corsair's should work fine in a standard laptop.

I've not ever seen pop-ups on this site in the 2 years I've been visiting.
Could it be from another site you might have up in the background?

Sad news, :(
He was a talented and very original bass player.
The "Gentlemen Take Polaroids" album is probably his (and japan's) best work in my non expert opinion, that and the "After a fashion track" he did with Midge Ure, got that on 12" somewhere
Tin Drum will always be my favorite, along with Rain Tree Crow.

hmmm, I'm not sure, I've had Apache server running on various machines for over 2 years now and no hacking has taken place, but I'm not sure, obviously you're opening your machine somewhat. I run the OS X firewall and a hardware firewall on my router, probably more peace of mind than actual protection, but it's worked out fine so far

I don't want one.
Me neither. I want a large capacity (100GB+) audio iPod. No movies, no photos, no games. A black and white screen and a long battery life.

I could live with that, just as long as people are clear that their contributions to articles tagged with the Wikipedia template fall under GFDL instead. I was thinking to add a little note to the Wikipedia template so that the exceptions don't take people by surprise. Does that seem reasonable?

I should see no reason why it wouldn't work like it does on the PowerBooks given that you feed the iBook the maximum amount of RAM. The only other limiting factors are the graphics card memory and the size of the screen (1024x768) is somewhat limiting when you have all of Final Cut's windows open.

Hi Guys,
A mac mini (2 months old) connected to a GOOD UPS is now rebooting on it's own 3-4 times a day.
There are log files generated for these events but are too detailed for my understanding.
Is there a simple event viewer (like MS eventvwr.msc) that can show me failed services, failed operations, etc., so I can try and track down what the heck is going on?
Any help would be appreciated.

I had that problem and the cause for me was the permissions. Some permissions were corrupt on the startup volume. This fixed it.

How did you do that?
How did you change your dock into that?
Also, how did you get the analogue clock?
you must delete the dock using Mirage (http://www.dockulicious.com/docks/view/mirage)
then i used a blank geektool (http://projects.tynsoe.org/en/geektool/) script to make the background for the dock.
and the clock is a piece of software called SimpleFloatingClock (http://download.cnet.com/Simple-Floating-Clock/3000-2094_4-173851.html)

It's your track alright, but why is he selling the key to others so they can unlock your door as well?? like I said, he's trying to get rich via your house.
Well if his approach is legal (as reported) he might not be doing this. Though I do take your point.
---
See, I get the impression that Apple are not that keen on DRM either. It's just that the big music and film companies need that reassurance so that they do business with Apple.

after looking at the new version I felt that it was great but the ads just really killed it. The space at the top was really hurtful of the overall design. I forked over a whopping $20 for a year and got the member version and look at how nice it looks! Plus think of how good the money can be used by Arn to make this an even better site!
